Social division, racism, and prejudice
Social division, racism, and prejudice in Israeli society weaken the social fabric, deepen the distance between groups, and harm the dignity, sense of belonging, and feeling of safety of individuals and communities.

Education System
Stereotypes, prejudice, and expressions of racism do not remain outside the school gates. They make their way into conversations between students, affecting their sense of belonging in the classroom, and shape the overall educational climate. In a reality of growing social division, educational staff play a central role in creating safe, inclusive, and respectful spaces that encourage familiarity, critical thinking, and the ability to see others beyond labels and generalizations.
Matzmichim Academy works in partnership with the civil educatio coexistence headquarters in the Ministry of Education and the Government Unit. for Coordinating the Struggle Against Racism at the Ministry of Justice. It offers experiential workshops for students alongside professional training for educational staff, providing practical tools to reduce prejudice and racism, leading meaningful conversations on the subject, and foster a more equal, safe, and inclusive educational environment.

Students feedback: The workshop helps challenge and disrupt existing prejudices…
Teachers feedback: The workshop has a strong impact on teachers’ ability to address prejudice and racism

Government Ministries and Organizations
Racism, prejudice, and lack of acceptance based on origin, religion, or culture, as well as feelings of invisibility and unequal opportunity, can all harm employees, damage the organizational atmosphere, and affect the organization as a whole.
Matzmichim Academy works in partnership with the Government Unit for Coordinating the Struggle Against Racism at the Ministry of Justice, and provides training for those responsible for reducing racism across government ministries.
At the same time, Matzmichim Academy offers workshops for work teams and managers in companies, organizations, and public authorities, providing practical tools for reducing racism, prejudice, and exclusion, and for building an inclusive work environment that respects cultural, gender, and religious differences while strengthening a sense of belonging and collaboration.

“The Matzmichim workshop provides significant value to the players, particularly in fostering awareness and prevention of racist remarks or behaviors- both within the club and beyond. This is one of the most important values: learning to respect one another."

Sports Groups
Racism has no place in sports—neither in the stands, nor on the field, nor within the team.
In recent years, we have witnessed a troubling rise in expression of racism in sports arenas, in chants from the stands, and in hateful comments and posts on social media.
Racism not only harms the athletes themselves, but it also undermines the social fabric of Israeli society and contradicts the core values of sports: equality, fairness, and team unity. Within the teams themselves, players from diverse backgrounds, languages, and cultures come together, and prejudice and racism can lead to tension, exclusion, damage to team cohesion, and even lead to violence.
The Matzmichim Academy collaborates with the Ministry of Justice’s unit for combating racism and offers workshops for professional teams, national squads, and fan groups, in partnership with clubs and public institutions.

Working with the Israel Defense Forces
IDF units reflect the rich multicultural diversity of Israeli society.
In every unit, soldiers from different sectors, languages, cultures, and identities come together.
A respectful and inclusive environment is not only a value — it is essential for the personal well-being of every soldier and for the team’s ability to work together with trust, cohesion, and effectiveness.
Unfortunately, in recent years there has been a rise in expressions of exclusion and racism in Israeli society, and these are also finding their way into the military environment. Each year, complaints are filed by soldiers who have experienced offensive comments, jokes, or treatment based on their culture, community, skin color, or background.
Matzmichim Academy offers workshops for soldiers and commanders, where participants gain practical tools to stand against prejudice and racism, and build attitudes that promote mutual respect, inclusion, and acceptance of others.
